About the show

Connection is a skill. This show is about building it.

The Social Connection Chronicles is a conversation between two friends about the skill almost nobody teaches: how to connect with other people.

Each episode, social skills coach John Bush and co-host Robert Richardson get into the real mechanics of connection: starting conversations, making friends as an adult, navigating dating and relationships, reading a room, and building the confidence to show up as yourself.

You won't find pickup lines or manipulation tactics here. It's honest, practical, and often funny talk about becoming someone people feel good being around.

Co-host

Where John brings the coaching experience, Robert brings the questions. He's John's longtime friend and the show's resident everyman: the one who pushes back, asks the thing everyone's quietly wondering, and makes sure the advice survives contact with real life.
